REFLECTION

In this SSI 3013 class, I learnt a lot about ICT and how it will enhance the learning and teaching process. This includes the way to attract student to be more eager in learning science subject as En .Azmi teaches us on how to use data logger, simulation and also Photoshop. I had improved my ICT skills a lot than before. I believe that ICT can make teaching and learning process become more interesting especially for Science subject.

Information and Communication Technology in Science class also teaches me on how to improve my self-confidence to speak in front of people. Since my future profession is becoming a teacher, this class really helps me to speak fluently and using a new technique of ICT in teaching and learning process.

En. Azmi bin Ibrahim, the lecturer for SSI 3013 is so committed with his work. I am so impressed with his commitment through this 1 semester of lecture. He will come exactly on time and he is funny too. I really enjoy his class and I am always looking forward to enter his class as I know he will give us more information and new knowledge about ICT.

About the assignments, I think that all of the assignments do give us benefits for future uses. The first assignment is about Smart School. This assignment tells us about the challenges of smart school implementation in Malaysia and how to improve the Smart School system.

The second assignment is about Data Logger. Data logger provides us to give question and answer to the student according to the topic given. Students will gain a lot of information through data logger since it has the element of engage, empower and enhance. These elements will help student to plan their experiment.

Third, the assignment is about Simulation. Through simulation, students can predict the situation given only by using a computer. This software also will help student to know better on how the environment cycle going without going for a field trip. For example, to know the number of rat population in an oil palm plantation when the number of owl changes.

The last assignment is about Photoshop. We are asked to create a creative header for blog using Photoshop software. En Azmi teaches us this skill so that we will gain new skill in editing pictures.

Overall, this class really help me to improve my skill in ICT and it do give benefits for me and all my classmates as the preparation to have a good teaching and learning process one day.
